Max-Air custom designed solution where automation of an industrial basket strainer was required. Over time, basket strainers can be difficult to operate, and customer wanted a simplified and safe solution. Package used a Max-Air UT56 180° double acting pneumatic actuator, fitted with Max-Air speed controls (not shown) to ensure safe operation of the basket strainer at a slow and careful speed. Basket strainer can be fitted with safety cages around the rotational handle if desired. Handle connection is very unique and difficult – and can only be installed onto the strainer drive stem in one direction to indicate the pressurized side of the strainer (for safety).
