An MT46.S4.F07-F10.CH22 spring-return actuator actuates two 4” butterfly valves simultaneously via a mechanical tee-linkage assembly fabricated in-house by Max-Air. Two 4” lug style butterfly valves are mounted to a standard 4” ductile iron tee. Set up for a diverting application, fluid from the inlet of the tee can be diverted 100% straight through, 100% to the tee branch, or any ratio in between. For larger sizes (i.e. 2” line size or larger), a butterfly valve tee assembly is often a more economical and better performing alternative to a similarly sized diverting ball valve. Tee assemblies can be outfitted with positioners for 4-20mA modulating control, and electric actuation options are also available.
